{"id":15289,"date":"2017-02-09T08:49:21","date_gmt":"2017-02-09T13:49:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/rvua.info\/?post_type=tribe_events&#038;p=15289"},"modified":"2018-01-24T22:52:44","modified_gmt":"2018-01-25T03:52:44","slug":"umpire-association-of-new-jersey-high-school-clinic","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"http:\/\/rvua.info\/event\/umpire-association-of-new-jersey-high-school-clinic\/","title":{"rendered":"Umpire Association of New Jersey High School Clinic"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/rvua.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/2018-Clinic-Application-Form.docx\">2018 Clinic Application Form<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>UMPIRE ASSOCIATION OF NEW JERSEY<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>30<sup>TH<\/sup> <\/strong>ANNUAL UMPIRE MECHANICS CLINIC INFORMATION AND APPLICATION to be held at RUTGERS PREP SCHOOL \u2013<br \/>\n<strong>Saturday, March 10, 2018<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dear fellow NJSIAA Umpire,<\/p>\n<p>You are cordially invited to attend the <strong>30<sup>TH<\/sup> Annual UANJ Mechanics Clinic<\/strong>, which is being held on <strong>March 10, <\/strong><strong>2018<\/strong> at Rutgers Prep School in Somerset, New Jersey.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The cost of the pre-season clinic is just <strong>$75.<\/strong> The clinic includes the teaching of proper mechanics to be used on all levels of NJSIAA varsity and sub-varsity baseball <strong><em>AND<\/em><\/strong> softball games.<\/li>\n<li>This is a state wide clinic so please don\u2019t delay in submitting your application to secure your spot for the clinic.<\/li>\n<li>THIS IS OPEN TO ALL UMPIRES NO MATTER HOW MANY YEARS OF EXPERIENCE YOU HAVE!!!<\/li>\n<li>We teach from CADET LEVEL UMPIRES to 30 plus year experienced umpires.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The following list of items is what you should expect to receive during the day:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Clinic T-SHIRT supplied during registration and to be worn during the clinic<\/li>\n<li>Coffee and donuts upon arrival<\/li>\n<li>Bag lunch to include sandwich, chips and a soft drink<\/li>\n<li>Door prizes to be given out during the lunch break<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mechanics Manuel<\/strong> to include all aspects of umpiring at the high school level<\/li>\n<li>Guest speaker to give insight to umpiring on the high school level<\/li>\n<li>Over 200 years of clinician experience<\/li>\n<li>Certificate of attendance at the conclusion of the clinic<\/li>\n<li><strong>A GREAT START TO THE UPCOMING HIGH SCHOOL SEASON<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is a great way for NEW\/young umpires to learn the proper mechanics that coaches and athletic directors look for in \u201call\u201d levels of high school baseball\/softball in the state of New Jersey.<\/p>\n<p>Representatives from <em>a LICENCSED NJSIAA Sportswear Supplier<\/em> will be on hand displaying their selection of umpires\u2019 equipment and apparel for you to purchase during the lunch break for the upcoming season.<\/p>\n<p>Clinicians are chosen from various chapters throughout New Jersey.
